This privacy policy explains how Skandia Elevator collects personal data, why we collect it and how we use it.
When referring to Skandia Elevator herein, we mean Skandia Elevator AB, Kedumsvägen 14

Skandia Elevator AB is the founder and owner of the Grain Cloud brand.

Personal data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable living individual. Different pieces of information, which collected can lead to the identification of a particular person, also constitute personal data.

We may collect personal data that you provide us with through various channels, including websites, social media, digital services, events, telephone contacts, email or otherwise. Such data may include:

  • contact details, e g postal address, e-mail address, phone number.
  • job title if you are acting in a professional context.
  • financial information, e g, credit and bank account information.
  • records of correspondence with the company and responses to our surveys.
  • business related information, e g information on agriculture fields, crops, equipment and economic data.

 

We also collect personal data by automatic means when using our website.

Website

We will retain and evaluate information on your recent visits to our website and how you move around different sections of our website for analytics purposes to understand how people use our website so that we can make it more intuitive. We also use data collected via website access for purposes of targeted online advertising.

 

Newsletter

In order to subscribe to our newsletter, you must provide your name and email address. When you subscribe, you consent to us storing this information in a list on our newsletter platform until you decide to opt out. We will only use the personal data you have provided to send you newsletters, and we will not share your contact information with any third parties. You always have the option to opt out of any further newsletters at any time.

 

Customers and other direct relationships

We will process personal data to manage and maintain inquiries, customer relationships and other applicable relationships, e g when communicating with, following up, carrying out deliveries, and otherwise fulfilling our contracts.

 

We may also process personal data to send out information on offers and marketing materials as well as to conduct customer surveys in relation to customers or persons representing customers.

We will process personal data necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations.

 

We will, where applicable, process personal data, based on legitimate interest to manage client relationships and other applicable relationships, e g in order to provide appropriate service and information on our products.

 

We will in specific cases process personal data according to consent, e g in relation to certain marketing activities.

We do not share, sell, lease or exchange your information with third parties without your consent; with the following exceptions.

External Service Providers

Skandia Elevator may appoint external service providers to perform tasks on behalf of Skandia Elevator, such as providing IT services or assistance with marketing, data analysis or statistics. The performance of these services may mean that Skandia Elevator’s partners both within and outside the EU/EEA are given access to your personal data. Companies that handle personal data on behalf of Skandia Elevator must always sign an agreement with Skandia Elevator to ensure a high level of protection for your personal data with our partners. Special safeguards are implemented in relation to partners outside the EU/EEA, such as entering into data transfer agreements including the standard contractual clauses for data transfers adopted by the European Commission and which are available on the European Commission’s website.

 

Disclosure at your request

Data stored in digital services can, at your request, be exported to third parties. Skandia Elevator provides options to automatically transfer such data to third parties but will never export such data without your request.

 

Disclosure is required by law

Skandia Elevator may also disclose your personal data to other third parties such as the police or other authorities if it concerns criminal investigations or if we are otherwise obliged to disclose such data according to law or authority decision.

We will retain your information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy. We are primarily using the following criteria to establish our retention period:

  • as required by legal obligations to which the company is subject (such as tax and accounting obligations).
  • as advisable in light of our legal position (such as applicable statutes of limitations). 

We will meet the security requirements set out in applicable privacy laws. The level of security will take into account the nature of the personal data and the risk of a data breach of the data subject.

  • to request that incorrect, unnecessary, insufficient or outdated personal data be rectified or removed.
  • to object to the processing from direct marketing as well as to know about any profiling.
  • to withdraw any consent to the processing of personal data that you have granted us.
  • to download the personal data about yourself that you have given us and transfer it to another data controller (data portability).
  • to contact us if you have any input or questions related to our processing of personal data.
  • to complain directly to supervisory authorities if you consider that the processing of your personal data violates the applicable laws.
